Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 6-12g Clears Heat, cools, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and clears Liver Fire.
with Sheng Di Huang, for Ying and Xue Stage Heat with a high fever, scarlet tongue, thirst, a rash all over the body, epistaxis and hemoptysis.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 3-18g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies, cools the Blood and calms ascending Liver Yang.
Fr. Forsythiae Lian Qiao 6-30g Clears Heat, clears Blood Heat and relieves toxicity.
Fr. Tribuli Bai Ji Li 6-15g Calms the Liver, anchors Yang, dredges Liver Qi, extinguishes Liver Wind, disperses Stagnation, dispels Wind-Heat and stops itching.
Hb. Schizonepetae Jing Jie 3-10g Releases the Exterior, expels Wind, vents rashes and relieves itching.
